Explaining the charges

Law professor Peter Henning is quoted in a story about the perjury and obstruction of justice indictments against Vice President Dick Cheney's Chief of Staff I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby. Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald will have to prove the perjury charges in order to prove the obstruction of justice charge, because the obstruction charges revolves around the lies Libby allegedly told. Henning said "obstruction is a broader crime."
